The Challenge
A first impression that had to land.
As Singapore’s inaugural AWS Startup Day, success was critical, and the venue would make or break it. A full day uniting business and technical stakeholders to share achievements, learn best practices and explore new technology needed a space that drew the right crowd, not a traditional ballroom.
The Solution
Build Amazing Startups Here.
The team sought a relaxed but functional space for 300+ attendees , able to run dual-track programming across Technical and Business breakout sessions. The choice was BASH at JTC LaunchPad, a startup-community space whose name literally means “Build Amazing Startups Here”, its industrial aesthetic and open floor matching the audience and the learning-focused atmosphere.
The Impact
Beyond expectations.
Attendance surpassed AWS’s expectations, with brands like Honestbee, Zalora and Facebook taking part, and 71% of feedback saying they would join future AWS Startup Days.
