Launch of the HTC Touch 3G and HTC Touch HD
HTC Corp, the leading manufacturer of Windows-based mobile phones recently launched their highly anticipated HTC Touch 3G and HTC Touch HD to the Malaysian market. These new handhelds are expected to raise the benchmark for any future touch based phones, as their proprietary TouchFLO technology promised to be sharper, faster and more responsive to your touch.

Since it was HTC’s last event for 2008, we were excited to be given the opportunity to conceptualize and bring to life an end-to-end solution for this project. The Event Management team would be supported by our Creative and PR divisions. After two months of preparation, the entire team (ROOTS and HTC) decided on two themes for this significant launch:
- To use the launch of the HTC Touch 3G and HTC Touch HD as a platform to celebrate the creative innovation of HTC
- To create a “House of HTC” whereby we can showcase the entire family of HTC Touch handhelds
Special invites were sent in the form of customized non-alcoholic beverage bottles. The event was not the usual “speeches followed by launch” but we opted for a “talkshow” format instead. We wanted it to be fun, engaging and memorable. The members of the local media were also treated to some light entertainment when those participated had to play a few games to stand a chance to win some HTC prizes.

As we look back, HTC is all about delivering cutting edge innovations for the 21st Century. The idea is to make work, play and communicate possible through a single handheld. The event echoed these values consistently throughout the entire evening as we strive to optimize the experiences of our guests and client.
Great satisfaction manifests out of sheer commitment. Another milestone achieved as we look forward to the next collaboration with HTC in 2009.
