The Beauty of Family

Bayer Schering Pharma is a leading research-centred pharmaceutical company that specializes in areas related to pregnancy and contraception. As most healthcare related services or products are restricted from advertising in Malaysia, Bayer Schering Pharma needed an effective marketing solution to communicate across the Malaysian market the importance of contraception while aligning itself to the local cultural beliefs.

“The Beauty of Family” was proposed by ROOTS, whereby a series of public forums were conducted by Bayer Schering Pharmas stressing the importance of contraception to the public. As we could not rely on advertising, we utilized our C2RM team to efficiently capture the attention of our target audience.

We started by reaching out to corporate companies to inform and enquire about their interest regarding the forum. With over a thousand phone calls made, our effort proved successful as the positive turnout and response spoke for itself.

Through the public forum, Bayer Schering Pharma was able to ‘safely penetrate’ the Malaysian market to communicate effectively the importance of contraception while demonstrating its breadth on healthcare.
